Personal statement

I am a visual effects and compositing artist for film and television, basically what I do is fix problems and make the impossible possible, Everything from removing boom microphones in shot to swapping out street signs. I am more then happy to work as part of a team

Though I had a collection of different jobs I wanted to have as I was growing up there have always been too constants they were creative and technical. I am a problem solver who enjoys finding new ways of achieving great special effects.

I have a very wide skill base stretching from Joinery and electronics to graphic and web design, which give me a lot of place to pull ideas from and give me a unique perspective.

I have worked on many projects that required organizing people and talking to clients on location during filming. While working at HMP Leeds I had to adapt to working in a secure and guarded environment with many rules and laws that had to be observed while filming and directing people in shots

Through my education I have covered all aspects of filmmaking and have worked at each level from the planning and physical production stage right up to the final edit and render.

My technical knowledge covers not just the hard wear I use from cameras to actual building my own computers but I am also familiar with apple os and windows and have a good working knowledge of everything from Photoshop and quark to after effects and final cut.

I will always aspire to build by skills and seek out new challenges and new projects to better my self. I will make myself the best I can be and take every opportunity to be involve in film and television, one day I will have a huge list under my name in IMDB and a wealth of memories and experience to go with it.
