Found a nice resource for general information about films http://www.squaremans.com/?cat=11 the reviews are interseting and they go off on nice related tangents instead of just sticking to one topic like "what the film was like" or how it was made" you get some nice trivia ("Elvis Mitchell asked Jon Favreau if, as a director of superhero movies that...") and critical references (Most film geeks mark the late 50’s as the height of the movie musical...) sometimes too.
