Been spending more time on youtube looking though composited CG wanted to talk about todays
PFTrack Composite on Combustion
This is impressive not just as a shot, not just as a breakdown but mostly because its better quality then 2 of the 3 Starship troopers films.
Heres another good one though the character dosnt blend as-well in this the reflections are nice.
This one is amazingly well planed,shot and animated to a level were i could see it in a film, all that its missing is being blended in to the shot better.
This one fails on the shadows but the model is nice and well blended.
Looking on youtube not only lets me find out how things are made and helps me with test ideas but i am always impressed with what people (adults and kids) can do even when they dont do it professionally. Sometime concerns me that my skills are less then people who have had no schooling in it but i won't let it stop me.
