Today went for what was ment to be the final day of filming at HMP LEEDS, it wasn't. We will have to go back this thursday because of poor communication on the side of the clients and the prison staff. Im getting much better and faster at the setting up for filming and the packing away as well as over coming problems with lighting, sound and shot locations.
Tom and I have got more and more into the habit of checking our own equipment not just because its good practice but because Matt will lend out any old broken or half missing bit of rubbish he picks up then laugh at you when it ruins your work.
Today we spent most of the day sitting and waiting for them to sort out the interviews with little success for 5 hours, the we finally got hold of one of the dog handlers so we could film a drug check. He offered to actually go get some drugs from his van to put in our actors pocket so we could film the dogs reaction (that guy is such a win). Unfortunately it was so late in the day that we didn't have time.
